top of your head and secure it with an elastic. “The
higher it is, the less likely it is to bounce or tug while
exercising,” says Marc Mena, a stylist for Warren

Lock it down. Braid the tail. Then create a topknot
by twisting the braid around the base of the pony.
Fasten it into place with a few bobby pins.
Go light. Skip gel or hair spray preclass; the alcohol
content in some products can sting your eyes.
