As a registered dietitian who often sees
overweight clients, I usually find that
they’re drinking a lot of juice. “The Big

I was happy to see “Boost Your Sun
Savvy” [June]. Because my mother
had melanoma when I was younger,
I’ve always known the importance of
protecting my skin, but now I realize
that I still make simple mistakes, like
neglecting my eyelids. Thanks for
showing me other steps I can take to
keep my body safe.
I’m always worried about the nasty
things one’s feet can pick up in the
locker room at the gym, so I loved the
advice in “Soothe Your Soles” [June].
Swiping hand sanitizer on my feet to
guard against infection is a brilliant
idea. The pedi pointers were great, too.
Now I can wear and enjoy my favorite
summer shoes.
