Let’s hear it for the (resistance) band! Not

but it also does about the same job as a strength
machine, according to a recent study at the
University of Valencia in Spain. After toning
twice a week for 10 weeks, exercisers using
bands achieved the same body benefits as
those using machines: Both groups decreased
body fat and increased muscle, and participants
were able do at least five more push-ups and
